In Sea World Dive Centre we are fortunate to have some very highly trained PADI professionals who take pride in delivering high quality training to their students. The 3 main instructors have collectively almost 30 years experience in SCUBA training and see the sometimes challenging conditions on offer in Korea as a positive influence on the development of their students abilities. Our focus whenever we start a course, whether beginner or professional, is to ensure that the student fully masters all areas of the training so that they can go in to whatever diving situation up to the level in which they are trained and dive with confidence and competence.
Training is mostly carried out in the following 3 areas:
Classroom
We have a perfect training facility in our premesis in Jurye - Busan. We use all the current training materials as directed by PADI and have comfortable classrooms for students to learn in. Classes have whiteboards, DVD players, computer access and all other required training aids.
Pool
Our facility has an onsite pool which means as soon as we are done with the briefing and class based training we can hop straight in. The pool is ideal for SCUBA training and is 3 meters deep which is an ideal depth to work on skills like buoyancy and start getting used to managing ascents & descents. For beginners the pool is a perfect place to get comfortable with breathing from SCUBA equipment and introducing yourself to the underwater world.
Open Water
Open water training is normally conducted locally - in Taejongdae, Yeong-do, Busan which is ideal as it is designated as a diving beach thereby increasing it's safety. We use this location for beach dives & boat dives both day & night. Beyond Busan we like to head out East for deeper dives, normally to Pohang where we have all the underwater features required to safely deliver PADI training up to instructor level.
